I believe I was made to create. I’ve always created; I can’t help it!
I would love for my art to tug at that small place in each person that is still vulnerable. I long to awaken the sensitive part in all of us that is beneath the busyness, the slick and the cool.
I hope my art, in some small way, illuminates the way in which the Creator’s hand touches us –
I never thought that a painting I did with enticing lips would be chosen to be on a billboard!
“Reflections” – part of a larger watercolor painting.
I have two of your prints and am trying to learn watercolor. I cannot come close to achieving the light in your paintings. Would love to take lessons from you as I’m am sure others would. You have amazing talent!
How kind of you, Sylvia! I, unfortunately, am not a great teacher. That’s a real gift which I don’t have. There are some great ones out there, however, and I encourage you to keep looking!
I have never been to an art museum nor have I ever known the slightest thing about art, but when I saw the billboard of your “Reflections” painting it hypnotized and tugged at my consciousness.
You have truly been blessed with heavenly talent
Sarah, Your talent is wonderful but you are a treasure in more ways than just art!! Your St. Simons Island friends, Pat and Al
