Peonies in a Blue Vase

This was a study that I did years ago with some dull flowers in this beautiful vase with an orange in front (it made no sense!)  I decided to repaint it this year with these gorgeous peonies and add a some buds to the fabric under the vase. I wanted a beautiful frame to surround this piece and I found this wonderful black wood frame that I feel compliments this painting well.
