Scrolling through my computer, I happened upon this lovely photograph of a Canada Goose taken by Bob McCarthy. By his permission, I jumped in to capture with watercolor the colors and light that played on the water, the sunlight on the wings. This is a wonderful print of blues, purples and greens. The bird’s wings are poised to lift off. Or, maybe he’s coming in….

I am so often moved by birds, and their vulnerability and grace. This piece, hopefully, captures that.
